One engineer, not an agency.

I'm Scott Spence, a product engineer and Svelte consultant in Kent. OES Technology is my consultancy and it's just me, so you talk to the person who writes the code.

Most of my work is workflow products in SvelteKit, taken from a clickable prototype to production. Document intake, review steps and audit trails, the unglamorous parts that decide whether people trust the thing. Around that sits the AI work: agent runtimes, MCP tools, evals and traces.

I use coding agents for most of the implementation. The speed doesn't come from the model. It comes from what's around it: clear context, a bounded task, checks that fail when a boundary is crossed, and me reviewing what comes out.

Before this I led two engineering teams building AI customer-service software on a SvelteKit monorepo. I've also done developer relations at Storyblok and GraphCMS. Before the web I spent over a decade as an analyst developer, building business systems for finance, insurance and energy firms. That's where I learned to care about how software gets run, not just how it gets written.

I'm a Svelte Ambassador and co-founded Svelte Society London. I speak at conferences, publish open-source tools for MCP, session recall and Svelte, and write up what I learn. When I finish a project, your team should be able to run it without me.
